When I first started reading I felt
that blogging was more of a middle and high school thing. Then after
doing my own search for blogging with younger kids, I was surprised to
find several articles and sights about young students blogging. All the articles addressed safety and ways to keep students safe. That is a main concern for me.
After reading the articles and doing some searching on my own. I am now more committed to try blogging not only for myself but with my second graders. In our district incorporating the 4C's is highly stressed. I do struggle with finding was to get the collaboration going in the classroom that stays focused on what we are learning. I would like to do some blogging to reading response. We try to do reflections to what is read, but it feel very flat at times. Blogging I think could remedy that situation.
